My property is 10 miles North of Indiantown, Florida, (also
located 3 miles Northeast of Lake Okeechobee) just off FL
Highway 710.  The photo above is looking to the East.  The
20 acre ranch, seen as the cleared land outlined in red, is
1/4 mile long from East to West and 1/8 mile wide from
North to South (1320' x 660').  Below is a closer view, again
with the property outlined in red.  The photo was taken
August 28, 2004 at 11:10 AM EST.  The entrance drive is
from the Southwest corner, seen at the lower right.  Below
the lower photo is additional text describing other details.
Please make note of your questions.  You may e-mail them
to me or call for additional information.  Property
inspection by appointment, please.  As indicated above,
this property is very private.  You will not be able to enter
or approach the property without escorted access due to
security measures in place.  Also, please view the videos
on this page.
If you are looking for a safe haven, a hidden location, or
one that will give you maximum privacy, you will find this
property the best currently available.  The open space of
the land is like walking through your own private park.  I
often walk around the property, which takes me through
several wooded glens in corners as well as through what I
call "Firefly Field."  This is the crescent shaped field,
located in the Southwest corner, containing the only
natural pond.  A complete circuit, involving a walk around
all four sides of each 10 acres, plus an origination and
return from the house, is 1.1 miles.  This takes about 20
minutes at a moderate pace (3.3 mph).  Other minor but
interesting features are "Pitcher's Mound," "Lookout
Mountain," and Nephews' Campground."  I will be happy
to show you around my property at your convenience.
  • Located 10 miles NW of Indiantown, FL, just West
    of FL Hwy 710.

  • Zana, Florida is the nearest named town.  It doesn't
    exist anymore, but searching www.mapquest.com,
Google Maps, or (I think) Google Earth yields a
location about 1 mile NNW of the 20 acre property.
When you click on the Zana, FL link, to the right,
look on the map 1.6 m SSE of Zana, then zoom in to
see the roads near my property.

  • When I had my helipad and helicopter on the land, I
used the following GPS coordinates to navigate to
    the helipad: N 27d 05.807'  W 080d 36.470' (WGS84
database).  If you choose to fly here, please call and
make arrangements before landing a helicopter on
my property.  See the photo, below, of the helipad
and helicopter.  Both have been sold and are now
gone from the property.  You could look at the
property using Google Earth using the above
    coordinates.
  • The photo below is the easement driveway,
running about 700 feet, from the outer gate to the
inner gate.  This is looking to the North.  Where the
road disappears into the trees, the driveway enters
the Southwest corner of the property.  The outer
entrance gate is to the right of the photographer's
    position.
This is a great place to have your own helicopter, should
you decide that is your dream too.   Horses would also
have a very peaceful undisturbed existence here.  Cars do
not drive by, which avoids constant irritation and dust.

Please view the two videos below.  They are each
overflights of my ranch.

The "Eastbound Flyby" video opens viewing the
neighboring property to the Southwest.  At 15 seconds
into the video, my ranch appears center right.  The Eastern
boundary (right side) disappears out of sight as the video
ends.  Use the above photos to gain an understanding of
the viewpoint.

The "Westbound Flyby" video opens with the completion
of a 180 degree turn following the "Eastbound Flyby."  At
11 seconds into the video, the Eastern boundary of my
ranch comes into view.  The flight is Westerly with a view
to the Southwest of and across my ranch.  This second
video actually gives a steadier and clearer view of my
ranch.
